My name is Ginger Allen and I teach one of our 5 day VPK classes. I was an assistant at Christ the King for 3 years, and last year was my first year as the lead teacher and I loved it! I have my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida as well as my Staffing Credential to teach the VPK program. I am married and have 2 amazing kids; my son, Brooks, is 10, and my daughter, Grace, is 7. They both went to preschool here and had wonderful experiences. In my free time I love the beach, reading, country music concerts, and hanging out with my friends and family.

My name is Amy Hudgins and this will be my 4th year teaching at Christ The King. Both of my children attended CTK years ago and I love it! When my youngest child - Jack, who is now in 3rd gr- entered kindergarten, I returned to the classroom after 8 years as a stay at home Mom. My daughter, Sarah, will be finishing up elementary school this year. I am happily married 14 years to my husband Scott. We have a huge and loving 4 legged child as well- Caly. I have a bachelor's degree is Psychology from James Madison University and a Master of Elementary Education from Marymount University- both in VA. I taught kindergarten in VA and NC and first grade in FL before I had Sarah. My favorite things to do are spend time with my family, exercise, go to the beach, travel, read and just be with my friends. I'm looking forward to another FABULOUS year at CTK.

I have been working with children in child care and early childhood education for over 6 years. I also worked with foster children with the Department of Children and Families. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Central Florida. I also have my CDA and VPK certification. I've been married for 9 years and have three amazing children. I love to scrapbook, spend time with my family, and read just about anything. I love working with children and wouldn't have it any other way!

I have dedicated the majority of my adult life to educating myself in childhood development, and using that education to work with children from numerous types of backgrounds. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Central Florida in 2002. A large portion of my studies focused on the brain development of a child and age appropriate practices in the classroom. This will be my fifth year teaching VPK and I love it. Besides being a teacher I am also a wife and mother. The Lord has blessed me with an eight year old little girl and a four year old little boy. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy working out, decorating my home and having fun with my family. All of my free time is spent with my family and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My name is Mrs. Jennifer Violetta and this is my 12th year teaching at Christ the King.  During that time I have loved teaching both the 2 1/2 and 3-year-old classes.  This year I am excited to be teaching a 3yr. PK and combination 2 1/2 3-year-old class.  I have a Bachelor of Science Degreee from Florida Southern College and maintain my credentials and continue to enrich my  teaching experience through classes every year. I have been married for 25 years to Gary and we have three wonderful children. Jess is 24 and lives in Houston. Haley is 18 and begins her freshman year at the University of Florida, and Chris is a 16 year-old sophomore at Dr. Phillips H.S.  I enjoy all sports and look forward to traveling to Gainesville this year to cheer for the Gators as well as continue to actively support Dr. Phillips HS as Treasurer of PTSA.  I love teaching at CTK and am thrilled to be part of this wonderful team.

This year will mark my 10 year anniversary with Christ the King Lutheran PreSchool.  In that time I have taught and assisted in all age levels throughout the school.  I have my AA from Valencia Community College and have completed the Early Childhood Education program at the University of Central Florida.  I have my CDA, VPK certification, Staff Credential, as well as my Director Credential.  I have a wonderful husband of 8 years and two very special boys that are 2 and 6.  I am so excited to be working with all of the children in the 2 1/2 year old class as well as the Mom's Day Out and Fun Friday programs.

My name is Paula Katutis and I am so excited to be joining the Christ the King team this year as a VPK teacher!  I hold a Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education and have been teaching for the past ten years with experience in nearly every age group from Pre-K to seniors in high school.  I love art and music and also teach private lessons in flute and piano.  I'm originally from a small town in Iowa and have lived in Florida for twenty-one years.  I have a wonderful husband of fourteen years and we have a daughter who is 12 and a son who is 10.  

My name is Kristy McUmber and I have been an assistant since 2006.  I have all the required training for Preschool including the 40 hour training, CPR/First Aid and my continuing educations hours.  I have been married for 18 years to Keith McUmber and we have 3 children.  I have been a Girl Scout leader for 3 years and a PTA Board member for 8 years.  In my spare time I enjoy running and biking.

My name is Silvia Vega, I have been working at Christ the King as an assistant as well as a teacher for the past 4 years.  I studied at Moscow State Linguistic University and received  degrees as a Translator & Interpreter of Russian and English Languages as well as a Teacher of Philological Sciences.  I also studied and worked at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru as a Teacher of Italian Language.  Prior to working at Christ the King I worked for the Disney Cruise Line for 3 years.  I am a single mom of a beautiful daugher, Andrea, who is 7.

My name is Alan Ilustrisimo II.  I was born in the Philippines and migrated to the United States 16 years ago. I’m happily married to my wife, Liza, of six years and have two adorable children, Cole, 5 and Pearl, 2.  Most of my free time is spent with my family.  We love going to the theme parks!  My personal hobbies include performing magic tricks and balloon sculptures.  My passion however is music.  I am currently in a band called “Blaming Francis”.  I play drums, an occasional guitar and some vocals.    I have been working at CTK for 8 years.  I have completed all of my training requirements.  I enjoy working with children and the great team we have at CTK.  I am looking forward to having another great year Christ The King!

My  name is Isabel Ojeda and  I have a bachelor's degree in Business  Administration. I worked for fifteen years  between Mexico City,Cozumel,and Cancun in the tourism industry,although
I always wanted to study Early Childhood Education. When my daughter Isabella was a student at CTK I had the opportunity to have my dreams come true and work for two years as an Assistant teacher and as a Spanish teacher here and I loved it! Now after 8 years of being a stay at home mom I'm back again and very excited to be part of the CTK team.

 My name is Nadira Baig. I have been an assistant in the 3yr old classes for the past 6 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, as well as my CPR/ First Aid certifications. Every year I up date my  in-service courses. I have been married to my husband Farooq for 15 years. We have two wonderful boys Omar and Usmaan.  In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, cooking and do different kinds                                                                           of arts & crafts.

My  name is Michele Chase and this is my first year at Christ the King.  I have been  married for 13 years and have two wonderful children, Ashley 10 and Landen 8.  I  have worked with children through teaching Sunday school, helping out in my  children’s summer camps and being room mom for many years.  I have also been a  Girl Scout leader
for 5 years. I look forward to a great  year!

My name is Louise Cadiz and this will be my second year assisting the Extended Day
program.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from De La Salle University, Philippines.  I also have completed my 40 hour preschool training and I am CPR/First Aid
certified.  I enjoy family outings, cooking, online shopping, and spending time with my husband and two wonderful boys Aidan, 8 and Colin, 4 who is also a student at Christ the King. In my free time, I volunteer at Dr. Phillips Elementary where my eldest son attends. 

I have been in early childhood education for the past 18 years – to be honest, I can’t imagine being in any other part of education.  I hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor Degree from the University of Central Florida, as well as a National CDA.  I hold a Florida Teaching Certificate for ages Pre-K3 thru 3rd grade; as well as Director Credential with a VPK endorsement.    I have been married to my husband Joe for 26 years and we have 4 children.  

My name is Claudia Kelly.  I grew up in the Doctor Phillips area and have lived here for 38 years.  I have been married for 10 years to Paul Kelly and we have a 7 year old son.  I was a Christ The King parent and had a hard time leaving; now I am starting my 3rd year as the office assistant.
