Christ The King Lutheran Preschool provides a Christian atmosphere for the development of young children in our community. We believe it is critical for young children to develop a positive self-concept and outlook. Recognizing the developmental needs of children, our program works to meet these needs spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, creatively, and intellectually. Therefore, we seek to provide a balanced program with Jesus Christ, our Savior, at the center of all activities.
Classes are structured to include free choice, circle time, snack, rest, and outdoor play in our fenced playground. Learning activities in large and small group settings provide opportunities for children to listen to stories, sing songs, and participate in discovery through group discussion. Activities are organized around themes involving art projects, music and movement, stories, games, etc. Colors, shapes, numbers, and letters are introduced throughout the year according to the developmental level of the class. Spiritual enrichment is provided through daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.
